Putin's Hour-Long Speech In His Hometown Of St. Petersburg
I really liked this speech. I liked that Putin is trying to argue he is not the reason for the scarcity of wheat globally. He is arguing western sanctions hurt the West more than Russia. I like that he is trying to engage with logic. I would readily counter argue, but that is not the point.
A man marshalling these arguments is less likely to drop the bomb. That is what I like about this speech.
Putin ties himself in knots when he talks about sovereignty.
